editing offline page
hello guys, i have a massive headache lol ,
i have the most recent X-Cart release 4.5? .. and i cant seem to find the OFFLINE PAGE Template, i want to edit it , i will be offline for sometime , and i do not want the default offline template , its not my style, where can i edit this template and its CSS attributes. thanks a bunch ,i tried looking everywhere, i cant find it, please help on this matter.

You mean the "store closed" page? This is actually simple html page in the root of your cart - store_closed.html

BUT...
A "store closed" page is gonna get you sent to Google purgatory. DO not pass go, etc... You are MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better off developing your store in a /dev directory, close it to the world via htaccess IP restricted, and build a placeholder site that has text and images and in a basic way, is representative of your company. Even if it's only a few pages. A "store closed" page once indexed is gonna take some work to purge from the search index. Install xcart into a /dev directory and lock it down. No need to ever use store_closed.html My $0.02

hmm interesting , thanks , it does sound like a better idea carp,thank you for the imput , i will certainly develop some templates with some information from my sites.
