language variables not included

Does anyone have any ideas why the language variables (for buttons and nav tabs) won't be pulled into 1 page in the admin? My static pages page in the admin has all the buttons and tabs but they are all blank (no text). If I hover over the nav tabs at the top, the drop down comes down but it is also blank. If I move my pointer into the drop down window, it turns into the "link finger" pointer and I can click the invisible links. (very strange) That is the only page that I have found in my entire site that is having the problem so I am really confused what is causing this. Thanks.

Try using the Tools area to clear the different caches. Otherwise maybe include a screen shot to show the issue?

Do you have more than one language for the store? If these language variable are only in one language and you have 2 or more they will not show

I only have English as a language, nothing else. Cherie, here is a link to the image of a screen shot. Notice the tabs at the top are blank. The buttons at the bottom are the same way.

What is strange to me is that only the static page(s) on the admin side have this issue. I haven't come across this on any other pages.

The image is too small. Did you try clearing the caches?

I tried clearing the caches before and it didn't work but I'll try again.

Try search for these language variables in admin languages and then re-save them.

No go on re-saving the language variables Steve. I don't think it is a problem with the language variables because they show up fine everywhere else. The problem is specific to static pages only. The problem might lie in admin/pages.php because if I click on any of my static pages, they all have the same issue. I can't see what it might be though. I do have CDSEO pro installed, could that be causing this issue?

No, cdseo will not cause this. Have you tried to get pages.php from the install pack and copy it over - it could be the file, could be permissions...
