On our newest shop, I had to reinstall it after a small mishap of my own doing. Everything seems to be running ok, now but I think I have some permissions off. Whenever I want to restore the default template it tells me:
Code:
Anyone have any ideas as to why? Its not the end of the world, but I sure do miss having my security blanket |

I tried that Shan, and get the following:
Code:
Do you think this is something my host can do for me on their end or is it related to xcart? I don't recall having problems changing permissions on anything else before.... |

I would say its an ownership issue.
Have a word with your host, they will be able to set things straight

OK.
All of my files in the skin1 directory are already set to 666 and I can't change them because of the error: 550 Could not change perms on browser_identificator_js.tpl: Bad file descriptor Is 666 what it's supposed to be? another thread said that all .tpl files should be 644
