I want to edit the checkout page so that the entire left hand column has a blue box background

I want to do this as the "APPLY" button is usually below the screnn on a lot of screens and the customer is not seeing it - therefore they can't "continue" with their order

I am using fashion_mosaic_green skin

can anyone give some pointers as to which template to edit and what I need to change to make this happen

You can use Webmaster mode to determine which templates to edit. When you enable webmastermode, it lists all the templates.. When you mouseover the template names, a border appears on the page indicating what that template displays on the page.
