You've done some great work for me over on www.Craftworld.co, quick question:
Is it possible to apply this module, say the grid display to just a certain part of my site, for example just on the "new products" or "random products" section of my homepage?

If you want permanent change (not with options to change) you don;t need the mod. All you have to do is create different templates to present the info the way you want and make these different lists use different templates. To answer the question - yes it is possible to be tweaked to apply to certain products lists only
