Download Expander not appearing in Admin

Hi.

I'm running x-cart 4.4.2 and I've installed Download Expander 2.2.0.

Download Expander does not appear anywhere in any Admin screen. Looking at /skin/common_files/admin/menu_box.tpl it seems that DE should appear after the Help tab. Is that correct?

In the DE instructions for XC 4.4

There will be a folder in the distribution located at skin/common_files/modules/Download_Expander. Upload the Download_Expander folder only fto this exact place on your web server.

In the DE distribution, there is a folder:
skin_files\modules\Download_Expander
I presume that these folders and files should be uploaded to:
skin/common_files/modules/Download_Expander
Is that correct?

Any suggestions please?

Have you checked that the module is actually enabled in admin, Modules?

Yes, it's enabled. If I look at a product in Product Management / Downloads, I can send a download link using the "Generate Key" button.

This is still not working in 4.4.2 Gold.
The instructions with DE 2.2.0 do not match the folders / files in the DE distribution.

Steve, I had the same problem... instead of making the edit to the template skin1/single/home.tpl (which is essentially added the link to the side menu), try making that edit to the same template file in Admin.

I've rechecked the installation for the fouth or fifth time and I've done everything according to the instructions, but the DE tab does not appear in the Admin pages.

I've checked the database and the DE module is active.
I've taken the if statement out of the /skin/common_files/admin/menu_box.tpl file, but still no DE tab.

Any suggestions please?
