It took me a bit, but I finally found the flyout menu activation box. Once activated, the colors are so pale on categories with no subcategories, that it almost makes them look like they are inactive.

Also, is there a way to make the category name a bit larger font? Where would I change that?

And another one, is it possible to add a link to the category menu that isn't for products, or do you have to add that to either the speedbar or bottom for static pages?
