Is there a simple way to import products Ive looked at the import/export instructions and frankly i've found the whole thing to be very confusing (CSV) perhaps somewhere in the forum there is a thread that makes this easy but i cannot find it, and if there are some examples so that i can actually see it that would help a lot.

CSV is the easiest way. If you are not sure about the format enter one product in admin with all theinfo and then export it to see what the format is. Can't be easier then this
