![]() I have added hard-coded clean url links inside my static pages, and they direct the visitor to other static pages. Now, I have to disable temporarily the clean-url functionality and re-enable it after some days. The only way to do that is by replacing every single clean url with its corresponding dynamic url (e.g. pages.php?pageid=<pageid>) or is there another quicker way?
Will all the clean url's be restored back when I re-enable the clean url functionality?

![]() Well to begin with you should have used dynamic urls (and let the system re-write them to the clean format) so that you wouldn't have to go through and modify all the pages. Unfortunately the only way is to do it by hand, there really is no quick way to do it.

![]() But, I actually created my own meaningful clean url's for each static page and category, I don't see the reason why it would be good for SEO indexing to let the system create clean urls? Besides, the clean url's are still stored in the database, so when I re-enable this feature, won't they become valid again ? (I hadn't the slightest idea that I would have to temporarily disable the clean urls for some reason)
