![]() The site I'm working on will have some products that will be sold through the site while other products will have to be phone ordered. However, I would like the user to be able to add these non-saleable items to a cart to track the cost of their phone orders.
My thinking is it's best/easiest to add a second cart (below the existing)for the items that I want to be phone ordered. After a quick look, it appears to be pretty involved. Has anyone seen this done before or have any info/insight. I would greatly appreciate your input. ![]() josh |

![]() No sense in duplicating the site, with some minor backend modifications that would allow you to have an additional order status type, for example, I add a online purchasable item to my cart, as well as a phone only order item, the custom order status would be assigned to let you know its a mixed order. You could even add another order status field JUST for phone ordering products only. I've setup similar sites before who "pre-sell" items as well as in-stock items, its just another means of keeping a "status" on the orders your customers are placing.
