What is the best size in pixels should the main logo be on my primary site? I'm talking about the logo that will replace the X-Cart logo in the top left corner.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

That depends completely on the logo and the design it is going in - there is no standard for this kind of thing, it is unique to each store.

I like the way the original logo (X-Cart) looks as far as small, sharp and clean. If I wanted to use that size, how would I know which size to work toward?

Right click on it and view its properties, or look at it in a photo editor.
