Hi we are setting up an online store that sells mp3 for as low as 5 cents. We are able to charge so low, since we accept payment using CENTIPIX, a digital prepaid card from Centipaid.com, and it is supported by x-cart.

We installed x-cart pro, which has only one provider (master), and we want to get the pro version, since it supports mutliple vendors, which technically will be inidividual artists who post their songs for sale on the site. Before we purchase the license I would like to know some things.

If you have used the ESD feature in x-cart PRO.

- can the provider upload/delete his own files?
- can the provider sign up on their own? or does the admin have to create each account.
- do you get a detailed sales report of which provider generated which sales?

Please note that the songs on the site are for demo pruposes only and not intended for distribution. they will be removed shortly.

Any suggestions, comments are welcome since we are still developing the site.

yep - each provider gets there own file area and can upload esd through the add product process/file management area

the provider needs to be activated by admin to get an account.

The shop admin gets all emails and is able to totally interrogate the sales stats.

Actually the system works pretty well although can always be improved.
