Edit customer/main/welcome.tpl or use Webmaster Mode to edit the text that is already there.

I know how to edit the welcome text.

I want to add new boxes below the welcome text with text and images.

Just save the about.tpl as a different file name in the customer folder. then change the information in the new file to whatever you want.

you can then call in by it's new name like this.

{include file="customer/myNewFile.tpl"}
