Hello everyone! Am new to using this program, so sorry about the newbie question. Anyways, I'm trying to change the title tag in my static index page. Everytime I make the changes and try and save it, it shows "error write protected". My question is... is it possible to unprotect it to make the changes necessary? Hope it makes sense

Hi again Nelson, thanks for posting in the forums instead of using PM. You are close with your signature, but we need your EXACT version. You can find this in your 'Summary' area of the admin. Should be something like 4.0.19.

As for write protection, you change the permission of your files via FTP or your hosting control panel. Files need to be set to 666 to be saved.

Thanks for the response. However, when I look into my Cpanel, I can't actually find the page that shows the same information that's in my static index page. Is there a specific place?

It is skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl, you won't actually see the content as it is a database language variable.

Thanks for the info! I was able to find the folder and ALSO unprotect it to make my changes. I really appreciate your help.
