I have tried thickbox, lightbox, etc. It is not giving me what is needed. TelaFirma is only compatible with 4.0.

I need to upload one image (MAIN).

The MAIN image would need to be resized (true resize so that if the MAIN image was 50K, this one is 10K or so) and used for the thumbnail image on the category pages.

The MAIN image would need to be resized and used for the thumbnail on the product page.

When you click on the thumb in the product page, it opens a new window showcasing the original MAIN image.

I then want to upload the DETAILED image and have it so that thumbnails of those detailed images show under the product thumb. They must be true resized, and when you click on them, they open a window with the original DETAILED image.

I am finding lots of stuff that will shrink an image to fit a size.. so a 600x600 image is shrunk to 150x150, but the overall file size is the same. I have tried out thickbox, but it isn't doing what I want.

How do I go about doing what I want?

You don't need the TeleFirma mod, there is a free one that does exactly this:

BTW: I actually got a hold of the Telefirma people yesterday and according to them they are alive and well and are in the process of reworking their mod for 4.1.x - no timeframe as of yet though.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing where anything is free. The thread leads to a discussion about a module that was commissioned out that several chipped in on, but there is nothing there as far as code.

Sorry, I meant that the cerdmann image resize module and thickbox are both free and you can combine them. The post I refer to is discussing this. If you are not comfortable combining the two, post in the thread and ask if the compiled code is available for sale.
