Default removing euro sign and amount
If the answer to this is in the forums I have not found it. But I am trying to remove the Euro sign and price next to the dollar price. Can this be done?

Sounds like you have an alternative currency in place. In Admin, General Settings, you'll find an option to remove this - you can either change it to display a different currency or disable this feature altogether by deleting what's in that box. (You don't want to change the "Primary Currency" but the "Alternative Currency" field underneath.)
