Is there any easy way to offer drop down product seclection instead of the usual block style showing each product in a given section of the page.

An example using wheels would be:

Select rims from the home page. The instead of having more categories or a bunch of products listed, have a drop down asking what kind of car. Then maybe another asking the year ...

I don't know if I would need more than one level and I'm sure it can be done but was hoping for a standard setting that I am not seeing or an easy mod.
