Can someone please help me create a < previous / next > navigation on my product.tpl page to help the viewer navigate to the previous or next product pages?

You need to ask the vendor, but typically they do, yes.

Could someone please help me figure out how to make the button go to the product in the next position (POS) under the current category.

I purchased the product from Cart-Lab on May 25th, but I have been unable to get any help from them on this issue. The next button takes the user to a totally unrelated product under a different category.

I wish I had read this post before buying the mod; going by product id without reference to category doesn't really improve the browsing experience.

I wrote to cartlab, and the very next day got back a revised mod that keeps the next/previous within the same category. Works great now!
