Default New Orders First in Admin->Orders

Simple mod that will make the latest orders appear at the top of the orders list within the admin. Currently in 4.0.x orders are listed in Descending order based off the orderid, listing the oldest orders first instead of showing the latest orders at the top of the list:

edit include/orders.php and find:
Code:
$direction = ($data["sort_direction"] ? "DESC" : "ASC");

and change to:
Code:
$direction = ($data["sort_direction"] ? "ASC" : "DESC");

Thanks. A very simple but a good mod. Really annoying if you have many orders and you have to go everytime to the last page for editing your new orders.

This mod worked great for 4.17, but found that i had to scroll down the page for the update button. So i also copied the update button to the top as well.

I edited shopcart/skin1/main/orders_list.tpl
and where i had:
Code:
{include file="change_all_checkboxes.tpl"} <DIV style="line-height:170%">{$lng.lbl_check_all} / {$lng.lbl_uncheck_all}</DIV>

I inserted:
Code:
{if $usertype eq "A" or ($usertype eq "P" and $active_modules.Simple_Mode)} <input type="button" value="{$lng.lbl_update_status}" onClick="document.processorderform.mode.value='update';document.processorderform.submit();"> {/if}

So it looked like:
Code:
{include file="change_all_checkboxes.tpl"} <DIV style="line-height:170%">{if $usertype eq "A" or ($usertype eq "P" and $active_modules.Simple_Mode)} <input type="button" value="{$lng.lbl_update_status}" onClick="document.processorderform.mode.value='update';document.processorderform.submit();"> {/if} {$lng.lbl_check_all} / {$lng.lbl_uncheck_all}</DIV>
