When I try to apply the patch on my server the page just keeps hanging in the test case:

I had a similar problem with it hanging at various points. I just kept trying and eventually it worked after about 5 tries. I thought it might have been my wireless connection which was pretty weak at the time. I know that doesn't help much but that's what worked for me.
