Default Write errors on compiled templates

I just made some text changes in two template files (done it many times before) and now the Smarty Engine won't (or can't) write to the templates_c directory.

I get the message

Warning: Smarty error: problem writing '../templates_c/-11/-1148365713/0.php.' in /home/vitamaxi/public_html/xcart/Smarty-2.0/Smarty.class.php on line 470.

I ran cleanup.php but it does no good.

Anyone have any ideas _ before I jump throught the hoops to re-install?

Thanks

davb

I had this problem with an older version of X-cart...I believe the fix for me was to delete the templates_c/-11/-1148365713 directory.

I use Smarty Templates for some other stuff, and what happens for me is that the system has to remake the template if anything has changed.

So, what I do is rename the existing file and the script makes the new one without a prob.

Hi,

Try running the file cleanup.php in your browser from your main install directory.
