Hi,

Not really sure where to post this but I have asked X-Cart for a quote to enable products with different options to have different weights attached to each option.

e.g. large product=500 grams, medium product=350 grams, small product=200 grams. Obviously if your shipping is done using weights then this is something that would be very useful.

Would anybody be interested in sharing the cost of the mod so that they can add it to their site, I did ask for a quote a few months ago and I think the cost was about $150.00 but it may of changed since then.

did you get anywhere with this? I am starting to use the product options more and I am running into problems with the weight for shipping quotes.

Hi,

Sorry for taking so long got answer, just got back from christmas break.

I had to pay X-cart to do the mod for me. They only took about 2-3 days to do it but it did cost $150.00 though.

Seems if you need it you'll have to pay the the Xcart team.
