Search Module

I see if I search by 'exact phrase' in the advanced search dialogue, I don't get a whole word search in the results (i.e if I search for E7 I may get E71, E72 etc in the search results).

Is there a way to make the exact phrase search more aggressive please, only searching for whole words entered?
