Steven is back. I successfully emailed him a few days ago and got a couple of mods from him. After his absence I get the feeling he is really under the pump responding to all orders / queries. Hopefully he gets on top of things soon and can fulfill all orders and outstanding queries.

Thank you Paul, that is good news. Thank you for letting us know.

I think it would be good for TelaFirma to communicate to everyone who is wondering what is going on as soon as possible.

Personally I just need to know if TelaFirma are going to take on my order and if so, when. I don't mind waiting, I just want some communication to manage my expectations.

So Stephen, if you are out there, just post something here so everyone can find out what your plans are.

Default TelaFirma not returning emails?

I hate bringing these kinds issues to the forums, but┘

About 2 weeks ago I paid $110 for a mod from TelaFirma, and have not heard a peep from them since. Ive sent them repeated emails and have not received any response to my emails. I have found no other way to contact them.

If anybody knows anything as to the status of this company, please let me know before I dispute the charge and attempt to reclaim my money.

Thanks.

Hi Primordial Performance, Im in the same boat. As much as I understand and sympathise with someone who is struggling to deal with the workloads of a business which may be the case here, or not, at the end of the day a business will only survive if customers are happy. Unhappy customers statistically will tell ten others of their dissatisfaction, I understand.

Personally I struggle to understand why there should be such a lack of communication. Of course things happen to people in life and I understand that but we have heard from someone who has heard a peep from Telefirma.. so what about the rest of us ?????

I have paid via PayPal and have put a claim into them for non-delivery of service. If things get better then I will reconsider in the future but for now things don't look good from where I stand.

Does anyone know if anyone else is selling an alternative to TeraFirma's mod for unlimited number of content categories for use with X-Cart's standard Static Pages?

I have been offered code on this forum but would prefer to get something shrink-wrapped so to speak.

Thanks all.

Default Re: Does Anyone Know TelaFirma?

Just to let everyone know, I made a claim via PayPal and they got my money back. I suggest everyone does the same.

The lesson I learnt was to not be so casual about doing business. This supplier was recommended to me from past work but things change... and I should have made sure there was a two way communication about the mod I wanted to order before making that order.

Because I was pleased to see this mod, which no one else seems to be doing, and I knew of a happy customer, and the site looked pretty slick, I just put the order in.

In future I will always make contact first to find if I can trust a provider. Clearly after this I have no trust in this provider as they have made no attempt to contact me even though they have had every opportunity. I appreciate things go bad and life gives out dirt to people, but this is business. You are either in business or not. If you are not, you need to close your door and communicate to people that you are not but maybe hope to comeback soon. Make just one call, leave a posting here so that many people can see it, or send a message to all those who were waiting for their orders to be fulfilled.

I also have this same communication issue with a well known mod supplier / installer right now.

The issue is probably due to not being able to cope with the work level, but the first thing people seem to do in this instance is clam up when it should be the opposite, they should open up and tell everyone they are maxed out.

That way people will understand clearly where they stand and make the decision that is right for them ensuring that there is every opportunity that they will come back to you again sometime in the future because they know you will be honest, and so can be trusted more than most.

Hiding the truth and not communicating is a sure way to confirm to a customer that you can not be trusted and that there is more than likely going to be a pain level attached to doing business with you.

People aren't stupid, they will not only walk, they will talk.

Its one thing to be a great engineer, its another to be a salesman and a service manager.

The lights maybe on, but there might be no one at home.... RIP

Default Re: Does Anyone Know TelaFirma?

i also purchased "advanced rewiev" some time ago, i downloaded it correctly and installed on my site, addon is nice but i currently receive a couple of hundred SPAM reviews every day, which i must manually delete.

reviews are always from the same IP and on the same prodouct, this should not be possible, so i think it is some king of script.

obviously is impossibile to contact Scouch in telafirma website

If it is from the same IP why not just block it in htaccess?
