Google Conversion Tracking Codes

Where do I place my Google Conversion Tracking Code to track a Adwords Campaign? I am seeing in the help menu that I need to place it here:

customer/main/order_message.tpl - the confirmation screen for checkout. Where you would place tracking conversion codes (Google AdWords, Yahoo, etc)

BUT, I am not seeing the <body> </body> tags to place it in.

Also, the "customer/main/order_message.tpl" file isn't placed in the "Ideal Comfort" template that we are using for our store.

Please advise. Thank you.

First of all, you should not edit X-Cart 5 files directly. Use Theme Tweaker module instead or create a custom module that overrides the template that you need.

You can use this online tool to convert the .tpl template into the new Twig format:
http://xcart.github.io/flexy-to-twig/

Also, the template should have a different extension and must placed into a different location:
skins/theme_tweaker/customer/body/js/google_ads_coversion_tracking.twig

This should help.
