Default Being driven crazy by a "register" button ...

Hi All!

I'm trying to get my "register" button to align properly, but it just won't sit where I want it to.

I have a custom login bar, which includes 2 buttons:

Code:
{include file="customer/buttons/login_menu.tpl" additional_button_class="login-button"} {include file="customer/buttons/create_profile_menu.tpl" additional_button_class="login-button"}

Which is fine.

However, when I add a href tag to the register button, it jumps and moves itself onto a new line!!

WHY is it doing this to me!!?

Like this is perfect:

Code:
{include file="customer/buttons/create_profile_menu.tpl" additional_button_class="login-button"}

Like this is wrong!:

Quote:
{include file="customer/buttons/create_profile_menu.tpl" href="register.php" additional_button_class="login-button"}

What would cause this?

Help

Thanks

XC buttons are one of the hardest thing to make work properly with other elements. The way they are designed is just ridiculous. Once you add href it changes completelly the whole button structure and uses different classes. If you change these classes it will throw off other buttons it's fun isn't it. What you can do is copy most of the css applying to it under new classes, use them for this one button and change them so the button sits properly. You can add the new classes as additional_button_class="xxxxx". Use Firebug, it's a must here

Hi again, Steve!
Hope you're keeping well?

The "additional_button_class" was a custom class, with CSS that I had copied out and adjusted - However, it seems that I somehow missed the "div.button" bit out, so I've added a float to that and it's great!

Apart from in IE, where it's now on a new line! D'oh! But at least it's sitting on the right hand side!

As for Firebug, it's my lifeline! I couldn't do without it!
