Reward Points BCSE points to be given don't show in cart

Hi,

Have been trying for days/weeks to get this simple part of the mod to work in 4.4.4, upgrade version 1.3 (we started out with upgrade version 1.2.2). When logged in registered customer adds items to cart and goes to checkout, the sum of points that will be given after the order is processed will not appear, no matter what the settings for the module are. We have tried inserting the code into the summary/cart_totals.tpl but it does not work.

Have a friend with 4.4.3 cart and it works on that version, but not in 4.4.4. We both have custom templates. I do not believe that it is a custom template issue as that points figure should be in a default x-cart template. Everything else works great, this is the only thing that does not work for us. It is confusing for the customer as they no longer see how many points are added to their account at the checkout.

We have re-checked our install several times and even upgraded again to the latest upgrade version available, nothing changes.

Before I go ahead and actually pay more to have this checked by them, has anyone else had this issue? If you found a solution would you please share?

Have you thought about maybe asking BCSE about it first? I am about to upgrade to and would like to know if it is the mod or your installation.

Hi,
Yes, of course I did, first thing actually. They need to have a programmer look into it. That of course will be costly. Was hoping someone else would have had the same problem and ideally a suggestion for the solution. The install follows their instructions to the letter, unless those are wrong in which case, back to square one.

Vera,

We upgraded and I looked for an issue with CRP and didnt find any. I dont think I have ever seen the points display at checkout because we never set them up to become valid until after the order was processed or completed. I would have loved to see a screen shot of what it looked like.

Hi,

You should have seen it in the BCSEngineering checkout when you placed your order. Their cart shows the points you will receive for the order you are placing. Regardless of which order status you actually add the points to the customer account, it is supposed to show in the cart. Thanks for the update.

PS I just notice on your signature that you have a 4.4.3 version. Mine is 4.4.4. I know someone with a 4.4.3 and it works without problems on the 4.4.3 version. Thanks again.

I guess it would help to ask what checkout you are using. I am using OPC.

I use OPC too. It's the default for 4.4.4
