Attention users of X-Cart vv.4.0.x - 4.7.1

Thanks, OK, I will use 4.4.5 to update my 4.4.2.

I have successfully (I think) managed to patch my 4.6.1. The 'addon' diff files worked fine. The X-Cart diff file errored most notably on provider/register.php 'not existing' which stopped the file proceeding until I removed that section from the diff which then went through OK apart from a couple of 'could not patch' which were easy to manually patch.

I am wondering if I should be bothered about provider/register.php not exisiting?

If it doesn't exist in your shop, then no one can use it to attack/spam you!
And if you don't need providers to register, no problem at all.

Sounds obvious when you put it like that!

OK, I have managed to succesfully patch 4.4.2 with 4.4.5, again a missing provider/register.php and one easy manual patch!

I manually applied the patches to 4.4.5. Just curious if anyone knows any easy, quick test to verify that the patches are working OK?

I have uploaded
security-patch-2015-04-28_4.5.4.tgz patch (in addition to security-patch-2015-04-28_4.5.5.tgz)

The security-patch-2015-04-28_4.5.4.tgz patch should be applied for the previous 4.5.x versions.

I have 4.0.17. The 4.0.19 DIFF file for include/func.php refers to lines of code that aren't in this version. Will there be a separate 4.0.17 DIFF file?

Has anyone had any issues Authorize.net SIM after applying this patch? we are getting error 97 back after applying it. I don't see anything in that patch that would effect Auth.net transactions.

I have reuploaded the patches for Gold / Goldplus editions without the provider/register.php file.

The patches for Pro / Platinum editions are the same (with provider/register.php file).

Highly unlikely - typical policy is to only provide patches for the last version in a branch, especially for the older versions.

Nice work on this patch and the follow up support in this thread afterwards. We have performed almost a dozen patch installations so far across several different versions, no problems at all.
