Couldn't of said it better, I'm anticipating upgrade costs for anyone past 3 months of free upgrades the cost would half the original, just to help cover support time and efforts.

I believe some vendors are performing the upgrades on mods as they receive orders for them, so requesting for a particular mod to be 4.1.x compatible isn't a bad idea as it lets us know there is a demand and to perhaps move it up in the priority list of upgrading products to 4.1.x.
