Default Add a text widget to sidebar

Hi,
I am struggling to find a simple way to add a textbox to the sidebar, that would be easily editable (ie. from the admin menu). Is there a module I can use?
Thanks.

I would just create a new language variable, and put it into a template. Then it will be easily editable from admin.

That is a pretty good idea! Although that won't allow for any formatting, but that's ok I guess.

The language variables do allow for formatting! You can use HTML, and you have access to a wysiwyg type editor, at least when you do it through the admin. Though I don't recommend wysiwyg editing, setup some CSS classes and teach them how to use them.
