I have a client that wants to display just a category of products where the prices don't show and the ordering of the items is turned off. Basically the info without the price and the ordering. This is only on one category out of all the ones he has.

Just use an {if} statement to hide/show the prices and add to cart or buy now button:

{if $cat eq "x"}show this{else} show this{/if}

X would be the number of the category.

Also, you have posted in the Pro Services forum...are you wanting to hire someone to solve this for you? If not I'll move this into the regular forums.

Sorry I still can't get which forum right. This should be moved.

While I have your attention which templates show the product with the price. I know there are at least two one for the products in the category list and one for the detail view.

Okay I am lost (again). If there is not going to be a price shown for a certain category then isn't there a code that says basically if it is not category 3 then print the price?

Balonor gave me this and since I did not want category 3 showing the price I put it in as this and it did not work:

{if $cat eq "3"}
{else}
the pricing code
{/if}

That is what that code will do if put in correctly. It will work for products_t.tpl and products.tpl. For the product detail page, you would need a different code.
