Upgradation problem in xcart5.1.8 to 5.1.9

Default Upgradation problem in xcart5.1.8 to 5.1.9

Hi,


We are trying to upgrade xcart5.1.8 to xcart5.1.9. But we are getting the white page only after click install updates button (like this "Installing updates, please wait...") and the upgrade error logs is,

Up gradation not completed yet. Kindly advice this.

Do you have any errors in the <X-Cart 5>/var/log/ folder? You should check php_errors.log and xlite.log files.

Hi,

We are getting simply this error in this two files php_error.log and xlite.log files

<?php die(1); ?>


Kindly please advice us to proceed further.

That is odd. Could you please check Apache and PHP error log?
If you got white screen, there must be an error.

Also, are you sure that your time limits are correctly set up? There is an article that will help with this task:

Hi,

We didn't get any server logs(Apache and PHP).
When we try in local server its working partially and no white page error.Kindly look over the screenshot. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0c84879d27

How to proceed further?

Hi Kannan!

Just to make sure, did you double check that time limit is set up correctly on your server?
http://kb.x-cart.com/display/XDD/Setting+time+limit+of+your+server

I assume that your server terminated the upgrade process, because the time limit was exceeded.
