When I use price modifier as the option type for a product, only the Buy Now button displays in the product lists (product map, products listed for a category). If the Buy Now button is clicked the user is taken to the product's details to make their choices.

However, when I use product variant as the option type, the Buy Now and Wish List buttons display. When either is clicked, the product is added using the first option of the one or more options.

I would like to only have the Buy Now display in the product lists and have the user taken to the product details to make their choices when using product variant. How can I do this, please?

I haven't been able to find which file(s) to make this modification.

Go to general settings -> product options module

In 4.4.2 go to Settings -> Modules, click the Configure link for Product Options module.
