Adding a custom Notification Message recipient
I need to send an order notification message to an additional email address (preferably formatted a bit differently than the message recieved by the admin and/or Orders Dept.). The additional address would ideally only get the one message when an order was processed.
In fact, I may need to send that message to two different addresses that are not the same as the store's admin or orders dept. addresses. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? Or, short of that, how can I get an address to be CC'd with the standard notification message. Thanks John |

You can list multiple addresses under each box in the 'Company Options', but they will each receive the same e-mail.

Thanks ... problem is that the "additional" address(es) would also get any other messages the system sends in addition to the order notification message. I'll probably have to make do with that until I have the time to dig deeper into the mailing system.
What do you find is the preferred manner of entering multiple addresses in the Company Options area ... seperated by comma + space or just a space? John |

No, the e-mails are all seperated into groups. If you put the second address in the orders department e-mail box, they will only get order notifications, not contact form or any other e-mail.
I believe it is just a comma between the two addresses.
