I was looking at this opc as i liked the look but now ive read the reviews here i am not sure, seems quite a few are having on going problems with the checkout...shame i liked the look

Every shopping cart is unique as they all have different modules, I have the checkout and it didn't work correctly at first, but that doesn't mean it's bad it's actually really good IMO.

I just opened a ticket and they fixed my issues. This was about a year or two ago so they'll more than likely have most bugs fixed. If you come across any just let them know they'll quickly fix it.

I have hardly had any issues, and if there were any small ones they were always sorted out really quick without question

As Jack mentioned in another post, the module is very much stable now. We also very careful in upcoming releases and keep the bugs very much lower at our best. You will also receive good support in case of any issues. Support is one of the reasons, the customers are happy with us.

Sorry about the confusion.

One Page Checkout module is now compatible with X-Cart 4.5.x versions (4.5.0, 4.5.1, 4.5.2).

I wanted to thank Dongan and his team for quickly helping to get a quirky install of the One Page Checkout Module working.

Running on Xcart 4.4.5 with the free MailChimp Module (which works GREAT with One Page Checkout).

We tried to do the self installation and screwed up our MySql database by mistake.
It was a MAJOR panic situation here as we backed up the Xcart directory and the MySQL database and finished the install at 11:55 PM.
We then realized that we had made a mistake in adding the SQL patch from Mercury Minds and screwed up our database (our fault). When we went to grab the backup to restore the original, we realized that our daily CRON backup had started at 12:00 and had already overwritten our manual backup with the corrupt one.

thanks to Mercury Minds, they went in and cleaned up the mess.

Kudos and thank you guys so much for helping out so quickly and professionally.

I am considering OPC mod for my store. I noticed following on your website.

"All the products will be dropped from 31st March 2013"

What does this actually mean? Will you please clarify?

Hi,

We are going to post a separate thread about our changes in products development & support to the community.

In short, MercuryMinds will not develop any products/our own module in future. We are also thinking to release the current existing module to open source (the decision will be made at mid march).

This announcement mean, there will be no warranty support after 31st March. No future upgrades/support. If you are buying now, we can help you in installation as usual. Any features request, further development and patches will not be done.

We will update here ASAP in March 2nd week with complete update.

We will continue working in customization, design, development, custom module to customers on request. The only thing is "we will not develop any modules on our own and sell them later to make money". If the customer wants module and ready to pay for it, we will do it happily.

if you are planning to release OPC as open source maybe it's better to contact QT and have them integrate it with XC as a stock OPC? So they can scrap the current so called OPC page in XC?
