I'm interested in adding an upsell of suggested or related products to the order confirmation email that my customers receive. Has anyone done this successfully? I'm running 4.5.4.

I hate these types of emails. All I am interested in as customer is to receive my order receipt. I am most likely to return to site and place another order if I had a smooth transaction, on-time shipping and clean to the point email notifications.

But what is actually worse is to receive one email with receipt and second with upselling items like some sites do...

Anyway I am sure this type of campaign works with a lot of customers though. I have not heard of any ready module but it shouldn't be hard to code something like this. You will have to get this custom coded. Get in touch and I can take a look at it for you.
