Default Email templates

Something that probably escaped from everyone. If having XC to send html emails make sure you modify the plain ones as well.

I am sure no one is thinking about this and modifies only the html email templates to their liking. But the emails send by XC also include the plain text version of the email and if recipient sets their email client to receive plain text emails only they will not see your modified version.

Very true, lot of work though...

Let's hope the next version solves it. Very curious to see what they come up with.

I don't think this is fixable. The plain text is included for backwards compatibility and when client is setup to plain text only or simply doesn't understand html emails.

Yes a lot of works but it is necessary work. It is possible to use some sort of custom script to strip all html coding and replace some with new line just to make it readable.

Well, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I just hope with v4.7.x they make some drastic changes for the better.

v4.7.x could be a make-or-break situation for QT. There's not many folks I know even considering upgrading to v5.x...

Are talking about XC5 with this email issue?

True, but most of my new clients are on XC5. We are working with it more than XC4 now.

XC4 but I believe XC5 will also be same way.
I am not saying this is a bug or something bad - I think plain text should be included for compatibility - just a warning as I am sure no one things about it since If you are setup to receive html the plain version won't show up in the email client.
