I am also going to move from litecomerce to x-cart. I have a contacted a few people to see if they can quote for doing the move for me. I have about 200 ebooks and I don't fancy loading them all in again. x-cart has some good modules that litecommerce doesn't have. For example I want to create an amazon feed as I sell many of my books on Amazon too.

Any other experience with the script out there?

Litecommerce 2.2.41 - but now

Xcart 4.7 seems to be working well - and glad I moved over from Litecommerce.

X-Cart and LiteCommerce users will be granted licenses on the same conditions.

There is no hurry to migrate all LiteCommerce stores to X-Cart 4. The only reason I see is the PCI-DSS compliance (which rules don't apply on all e-commerce stores). For those LiteCommerce users, who require such a compliance right now we can exchange their LiteCommerce license to X-Cart - that will allow them to switch to X-Cart 4.3 and achieve PCI-DSS compliance before we release the new e-commerce platform.

Feel free to ask me if you have a question I haven't addressed.

Best regards,

Vyacheslav dobreden,

Can you update the current policy on LC license holder options.

As an example are you currently allowing exchanging for an Xcart license and will that be upgradable for free to LC3/Xcart5?

Default X-cart Mobile, X-cart 5.0

What could be the anticipation of release of version 5.0 of x-cart?

You're being optimistic with a beta in 2012
