That one looks like a custom mod, you should contact Andrea at 2TC and ask her how she did it

This is Cart-Mods Dynamic Categories Mod (also seen on the genpi.com site):

http://www.cartmods.com/product.php?productid=104

You can easily add the "-" in the code and it looks pretty good. It's a wonder X-Cart actually can seel the fancy cats mod ....

Default catalogs and sub-catalogs structure

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your information but when I visit the www.genpi.com, I found that the catalog shown on the left hand side of this website is not the one I want.

I would like to have the catalog structure like:-

If anyone has any ideas, please give comments.

Thanks and regards,

Andy

Andy,

Did you click on the "Bags and Cases" category of the genpi.com site? It's exactly what you want, except it dynamically expands. If you did prefer a static vs. dynamic category menu- I think the post below will solve your problems:

Give it a try, looks correct.

Default Catalogs and Sub-catalogs structure

Hi Mike,

Thanks again for your prompt reply.

Since I haven't click on the "Bags and Cases" category of the genpi.com site but I click the other categories which will not be expansed since the reset of categories is single level.

However, I have checked the forum

http://forum.x-cart.com/viewtopic.php?t=11006

as you shown in your reply mail and I tried to follow the steps but not working. Thus I post this to check anyone can help me as I checked with some website, their catalog and sub-catalogs are shown as I mentioned before and I would like to know how to do it.

Anyway, thanks again for you Mike.

If any ideas, please give comments.

Thanks.

Andy
