Hello,

Thanks in advance for any-and-all help!

We would like to remove the "contact us" link from the Help Section.

We are using xcart as an add-on to our existing site, which already has a contact form that we prefer to use.

If possible, please supply specific instructions... navigating the xcart files can be a bit confusing .

Open skin1/customer/help/menu.tpl and comment out the contact us line
Do the same for the skine1/customer/help/general.tpl

Just one additional question... I want to make sure I know what "comment out" means.

Does this mean I simply delete any code in reference to the contact us link?

Or does "comment out" involve adding some code?

You can delete if you want to but it is better to stay there just in case you want to turn it back on or for reference. Comment out means surround the code you don't need with "{*" - "*}"
