Customize Product with uploaded logo

Are there any add-ons for x-cart that allow for the ability for a user to really customize a product by uploading their logo.

Here is something similar on opencart but we need something like this for x-cart.

BCSE has a mod that allows image upload and attaching it to a product: https://bcsengineering.com/store/x-cart-order_product-image-attacher.html

I had a client that used this, but it wasn't enough. They wanted to be able to allow the customer to control the placement of the logo on a T-shirt. Ended up haveing to build a custom solution that made heavy use of jQuery UI.

Yes, I saw that mod but that is not enough for our client either. They need to be able to place the logo on the image and see what it looks like.

I thought it might not be enough. This is a very tricky thing to do right.

That is a another option but again it was not enough for my client.

I did. We used a popup that was activated when a user checked a checkbox. The popup had two modes, image upload for screen printing or embroidery. You could switch between the two tabs image or embroidery, embroidery let you type a name, select a font, and see a preview, image lets you upload via ajax... too much to type, going to make a video.

Thanks for the video. Looks like a complex system. May have to look into other carts for something like this.

Well, I didn't want to discourage you, rather wanted to show that it was possible. I think you might find that this type of functionality is going to need to be custom built no matter what cart you choose for the job. We've done custom image uploads as well. Some very complicated ones too.
