Default Tracking no. (shipments)

In Xcart 5 not seeing any section to add tracking nos. to update customers. Shipklark might help (module) but it doesn't support CanadaPost.

Between no tracking no. area, no dimensions (product) area...not understanding the logic, Xcart 5 supposed to improve these things not just the cosmetic look of the cart.

Confusing.

It seems like you are using older XC5. Latest version does have tracking number for orders, multiple can be added

Hi!

You can specify tracking number for orders on any order page:
http://awesomescreenshot.com/0c63581n8d

Besides that, I believe, all webgility modules should work properly on 5.1. They updated the modules several weeks ago. If you feel, there is a problem with modules, please contact them at sales@webgility.com as specified here:

Hey Tony,

I don't see those options in 'general info' I guess its only on 5.1x.
Yes I confirmed with Webgility that they upgraded and support 5.1x

However, I tried to do an upgrade from 5.0x to 5.1.3 and it hung on the cache regeneration step 9. When I logged into the front and backend things looked off, russian and english mixed on checkout, no new orders showing in recent (but showing in orders) and some other funky stuff. Others have had problems upgrading (actually since i've been with x-cart in 2006, there has never been a successful upgrade for me, always I had to fork out $200+ to xcart yet I have migrated through versions 1 to 3 even in joomla successfully). I may wait till year end when 5.1x seems to be more stable (I feel like x-cart makes public what others would make beta, maybe i'm wrong).

Yes, tracking numbers were added in 5.1. They did not exist in 5.0.

As for unsuccessful upgrade, could you please let me know whether there is any error message in the <X-Cart 5>/var/log/ folder? It is very important for me to understand why your upgrade failed. Such understanding helps us to improve our upgrade capabilities.

Please, let me know if you find any errors in the <X-Cart 5>/var/log/ folder.

Tony.
