For many stores, PhilJ's flyouts are the best thing since....

I own it. Could I have done it myself? With enough homework, yeah... was it worth the $40 when I bought it (it went up)? Saved me days of headaches.

I own a bunch of Phil's mods -- and I am most satisfied with the results.

Unless you have a zillion categories and subcats, this is superb. Ask Phil for a consult before you buy -- give him the stats on your store -- number opf categpories, cubcats, subsubcats, etc.... number of products per, etc... He'll let you know if his mod will be perfect or not.

I bought it about 10 minutes ago. After thinking about it and realizing how much time I have already spent on trying to do this myself and then thinking about how much more time I probably would end up spending trying to figure it out. I said "#&%" it.

My only concern was that of the one post I read that the site had real slow loading times and it was due to a mod from Phil and his menu system. I'm assuming since this particular mod was revised that it's fixed now.

Just waiting for it to be verified and delivered.

Sigh... 21 hours later and still waiting for my order.

I hate ordering scripts/downloadable items on the web and having to wait for them. You would think someone selling X-cart mods/web programing stuff, they would have an automated system that would automatically send out the product upon payment received.

You ordered this at 4am local time on a Sunday morning in the UK. Can you really expect fulfillment before some time during the business day on Monday?

Few (if any) mod developers have automated systems, as they customize, encrypt or register a copy-protection key for each purchase. Additionally, due to fraud, many vendors of digital goods will do some kind of fraud check before releasing the goods...

Your expectations of instant delivery are not in-line with how it works.

Please be patient... I'm confident Phill will fulfill your order during business hours on Monday.

I was unaware of this. I guess it makes me feel more comfortable now since it will be a licensed/registered copy to me. I guess I didn't think about that, I thought it was just like those free scripts you can download, or like font packages where you pay and its delivered immediately. I can wait. Plus I didn't take into consideration it was a uk site till you mentioned it. I mean, I knew this but wasn't thinking about it. On top of that, my succesfullhosting server has been down for the past 10 hours anyways due to a router issue and was just looking for something to do... a wasted day for me cause I can't make any changes to my site and see what they look like without uploading them.

Sorry, guess I was just looking for a reason to blow off some steam.
