Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
will there be a 4.1.3 to 4.1.6 that actually works without hanging on the upgrade? I have seen a least half a dozen to a dozen posts with users unable to upgrade, not due to the modified files, because these get re-modded, but that the upgrade does not get past some files.

For the record...I tried to apply this file, and it was looking for login.php version v 1.120.2.19..I have a fresh install of 4.1.5 and only have version 1.120.2.17, so that wouldn't work (and is kinda strange!)...the rest of the files aside from customer survey (don't have that) said already patched..and captcha is still not working correctly. Still testing though, so not a big deal (would love to see 4.1.6 soon though!)

Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
Have they found enough bugs to put in a .6 release yet?

Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
A question to the X-cart team.......
As far as I can tell, I don't see any listed changes in the log regarding to configuration option to allow Xcart store to relay emails via a SMTP server which requires authentication. Would you guys be considering adding this to future update? Thank you -Tuan

Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
Just did a directory compare of a 4.1.3 upgraded into 4.1.5 with a clean extraction of 4.1.5. I noticed that some files are "missing" (if they are suppose to be there).
In the upgraded install, I noticed that the following files do not exist in the clean extraction: Quote:

I'm wondering if this was just me or did someone else also see this. P.S. There were some files which were not matching but I'm not too entirely sure why. Files like: Quote:

Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
So I'm assuming you did a clean install and the files I mentioned are indeed not there for you?

Re: X-Cart 4.1.5 released
Well, I just looked, the file ps_gcheckout_callback.php exists in 4.1.3 but does not in a clean extraction of 4.1.4 or 4.1.5. It's quite possible they do not require it anymore. Hence why I still have the file since the upgrade process doesn't delete any files (would be nice if they let us know which files are needed and which files aren't after an upgrade). You could probably search through your files to see if it makes any reference to ps_gcheckout_callback.php and then decide whether or not you'll need it.
EDIT: Any recommendation on whether an upgrade is preferred or if a clean install is preferred? Ignoring modifications and data (mods I have few and I don't mind re-implementing and data I can always export and re-import)
