I want my customers to go to the details page so they are forced to choose options based on a validation script I built. I don't want them adding the item straight to cart.

I had the same problem when I had 4.2. I do know it was fixed in 4.3.1. I think there are answers here for that problem.

Just one thing see if you have the box ticked in general options, product options

It doesn't work for me in 4.3. Yes it directs people to the details page if there is a product option to select. But products without options are also directed to the details page. Does anyone know how to correct this?

I noticed that without pictures and the option checked in the settings, that the Buy Now just added the item to the cart.

Once i added pictures to the product it went right into the details page.

I don't think there's a way to make option-less products go straight to cart.

Well that's pretty useless to have a buy now button that doesn't work

Yeah, but what would you post that doesn't have a picture with it that would be for sale?
