I tried using Alipay but whenever it goes to the Alipay payment page, it throws and error saying "ILLEGAL_SIGN".
Has anyone been able to use the Alipay successfully?

Could you please post a new ticket describing the issue to X-Cart bugtracker -> https://bt.x-cart.com

Also, please define the "XC_ALIPAY_PM_DEBUG" constant in e.g. config.local.php and provide us with the logs as well.

It will help us to investigate and fix the issue asap.

XC 4.7.4 BUG. It deserves the capital BUG. Another not so thoughtful change for X-Payments without any warning anywhere - at least I did not see any warning.

This is related I guess to this

Well this improvement is buggy.
If you are upgrading to 4.7.4 (or using fresh copy) and using X-Payments to process CC payments be advices:

You have to use the latest version of X-Payments or your CC processing will stop with an error

Payment System returned the following error “Array”. Please refresh the page and if the problem still exists please contact us on this matter

XC 4.7.4 upgrade (and fresh install) sets X-Payments Connector to API version 1.5 without any warning. If you are not using latest X-Payments you are in trouble.

X-Payments error (code: 506): Your X-Payments connector module supports API version "'1.5'". This X-Payments supports the following API versions only: "'1.1, 1.2, 1.3'".

Now this is coming from a cart which worked perfectly fine under 4.7.3 and the upgrade to 4.7.4 broke the CC payments. To fix it - either upgrade X-Payments to latest or you can run this query from admin patch/upgrade

UPDATE xcart_config SET `value` = "1.3", `type` = "text", `defvalue` = "1.5", `variants` = "" WHERE `name` = "xpc_api_version";

This is the second time I bump into problems like this with XC upgrade, Connector and X-Payments. And it is the same scenario again - changes to XC which require latest X-Payments without any notice...

Sorry for the inconvience, it's just a bug in upgrade pack for 4.7.4 and we've just uploaded a fixed version.
X-Cart 4.7.4 works with older X-Payments and you can also see that X-Payments Connector module updates for previous versions of X-Cart doesn't have such issues as well.
