First Data Global Gateway e4 Web Service API Support?

Does anyone know if there is payment gateway support for First Data Global Gateway e4? (Using their Web Service API)? There are two First Data gateways included with X-Cart, but neither of them are for "e4", only for "linkpoint" and "connect".

There it is!

But I found it has an error in it... in a few places in the payment php page it says sessionid instead of sessid ... you need to edit those.

Now it works and I get receipts (customer and merchant) but the website still says the order failed...

Fixed ... you need to shut off the option to verify HTML on the relay response.

First Data was great to work with on the issue.

so, I have the First Data Global Gateway - Connect option, They initially had me using the api version but i switched because that is what was in xcart. Is there any advantage to using the api version?

I have no experience with the connect option. I think you would need to ask them what the differences are. The API version works great now that I got that error fixed.

Is this still a hosted solution over on FirstData.com? Looking at your site it seems to be. What is the advantage of this over Connect?

They just added this todayto 4.5.4, so yes it is now a built in supported gateway. And yes it is hosted. I posted before that I have not used Connect so I can not vouch for their differences. You would need to contact First Data with that question. I have a feeling Connect may be discontinued.

we just signed up for the connect option and it works fine. I might switch back if the xcart interface allows you to capture without having to login to FD's site. That would save time processing orders. Any ETA on 4.5.4?

4.5.4 is out now, the upgrade packs will probably be at least a week I would guess.

And I bet the new E4 module goes to their page still. I don't think it is the kind where it stays on your cart. Unsure. I really would like that too, but it requires a lot more to be compliant. Probably not worth it.

There is another type of integration with First Data Global Gateway - LinkPoint.

This kind of integration is available via X-Cart Payments:
