Adding a clock and date but the clock isn't moving
Hi can any help, i am trying to put a clock and time on my main page underneath the speedbar, i am placing the code inside the head.tpl
the code i used is {$smarty.now|date_format:"%A, %B %e %Y, %r"} which i found on a forum here, but the clock isn't ticking, if i press refresh then the clock jumps to the correct time. any help please - thanks

Using Smarty like this won't give you a dynamic clock (one that updates without refreshing the page. You'll have to use Javascript or DHTML. Take a look at www.dynamicdrive.com for clock scripts

They are all good, but im wanting to implement something similair but use the server time rather than the customers local time.
For example if I say in the basket that you can have next day delivery if orders are placed before 3pm (for UK customers), then I need to show the server time otherwise people from the US will be showing their local time from their pc's
