I had a look at it and it says $39... did I unterstand 'free mod' wrong?

Don't forget: when you want to have an item at an earlier stage you always pay more. After some time you can find it discounted and you feel dumb but you actually also paid for having something at an earlier stage.

- I noticed that if you use flyout menu, the open menu disappears behind the image when Thumbnail Candy is turned on. z-index?

- I red that you can multiple products ribbons at once in the admin. How does this work?

I have the same sort of thing on my site... I can't see also the thumbnail candy on the product pages. Maybe it has something to do with my layout selector...???? But anyways, in specials.php is showing correct.

Did you resolve the issue already??? I posted a ticket to Phill, but no response so far...

Let me know if you have th solution...

infact if you add any new products then still candy image doesn't appear !!

in read me file no steps mentioned for upgraded site !

I am the only one who has faced this issue ?

I have "PAID" for this module & now this mod is available for "FREE"

I have also posted ticket to Phil for this issue but never received any reply from him ! I guess few minor changes required display thumbnail candy on product pages also but only he knows the solution as he is the developer of the mod.

I bought watermark images mod also from him & this mode is also not working with 4.5.4. I opened ticket for this also & never received any reply !


I bought Ability template also from him but because of same kind of approach I switch to ideal comfort template after upgrade of my site. I feel all my money got wasted for mods purchased from him.

In the past I received very nice after sales support from him. He has got some nice modules but I don't know what happened with him he didn't care to reply. I will not buy any module from him now unless my issue get resolved first

That's not very nice to not answer the tickets..
I also thought that it would be done with a few changes for the mod to work.

I also want to buy watermarks mod, but I'm holding on to my money for now. I'm investing in my stock now!! Hahaha..

What is your site? Mine is www.modelbouwshopper.nl.... take a look... I live in the Netherlands..

I also got very quick response from Phill in the past and I bought smart template and ability template, and some more mods from him also, very nice templates, although I have some recrets buying the ability template from him. It's not how I thought it would be.. But that's not his fault hehe...

Well, we'll have to wait a bit more and I'm throwing out email to him...

Did anybody actually get this working correctly in 4.5.5? I just put a ticket in to Phil tonight - again... I purchased this back in 2013 (I think) and it never did work right, and it has been bugging me since then - I initially put a ticket in, but never heard back.

Hoping someone here has a quick fix...

I installed the Thumbnail candy today. I run x-cart 4.6.4. My problem is that I only see the wrapper on the specials page but not on the products page.
What am I doing wrong?

OK, I did manage to get the Thumbnail Candy working on product pages by changing not only everything in the common files but also in the skin I personally use. BUT... now the thumbnails are not centered in the thumbnail container. I tried replacing with the following text in skin/common_files/modules/Thumbnail_Candy/thumbnail_wrapper_above.tp

.candy_wrapper_{/literal}{$product.productid}{literal} {
position: relative;
width: {/literal}{if $product.tmbn_x}{$product.tmbn_x}{else}{$product.i mage_x}{/if}{literal}px;
z-index: 999;
margin: 0 auto;
}

But that didn't help at all. Any good suggestions??
