Hello,

I've created several categories which will be the top level for my menu. Let's say one of these is "Gifts".

Under each of these are several subcategories. What I would like to have is if someone clicks on the main category "Gifts" they will see a page that includes all of the subcategories - each with a picture displayed that represents that subcategory. For example there may be "Gift Baskets", "Gifts Under $20", Etc. on this page.

When I created the subcategories it allowed me to upload a picture. However, I don't see that picture displayed anywhere.

Is it possible to do what I've described here?

I just found a site created with X-Cart that does what I want. Take a look at:

http://www.genpi.com/shop/home.php?cat=97

This is exactly the type of page I'd like to be able to create for each of my main categories.

You just don't know how much this store is used as a freference!

I myself like this store.

Anyway, this is a special mod that does this. It has to be purchased and installed into the xcart.

Contact genpi and ask them where the mod for their catagories came from and they will more than likely answer you. Very nice people and open for discussions about various aspects of their site.

I have seen them help people with many subjects and point them in the right direction.

Thanks Ricky, that code looks like exactly what I need!

Thanks Mark for the suggestion. I considered contacting them but didn't want to presume that they liked other X-Cart users bugging them all the time. I've definitely seen their site referenced quite a few times. I'll keep it in mind next time that they're open to helping.
